About Humanity

Founded in July 2020, Humanity is an independently Black-owned, female-led, brand transformation agency based in Toronto. We specialize in helping organizations create brands that truly connect with their communities, making a positive impact on both their business and in society.

While some saw the height of a global pandemic as a tough time to start a new business, we saw an opportunity. It was the perfect moment to launch Humanity, a human-centric agency bringing much-needed empathy and understanding to the industry and the world.

We believe brands have the power to support human wellbeing. That’s why we go beyond numbers and surface-level data to uncover the real stories, cultures, and lives that shape our communities. Using our unique Wellbeing Framework™, based on behavioral science, we help brands understand not just what people think, but how they think. This allows us to identify the promises brands should make to truly benefit their communities.

We are a diverse group of humans who truly love working together and are committed to the power of human-centric insight and creativity. Each of us brings our own lived experiences and talents every day, championing brands that are not just successful but also deeply connected to the communities they serve.

Our main office is located in Toronto, Canada, but we have humans and partners throughout the country.
